Labradoodles are docile and social. They are darling and devoted pets! Being a mix of a Labrador retriever and a poodle (which both love the water), Labradoodles love the water as well!

A Labradoodle is happiest when they are with the people they love. Your Labradoodle will shower the entire family with affection and devotion. They have the energy of the Labrador Retriever and the work ethic of both the Labrador and the Poodle.  A Labradoodle is very easy to train since as they are intelligent and very eager to please.  They usually do well with other dogs and pets in the household, and are generally good with children, but they can be exuberant and may unintentionally injure a young child through sheer boisterousness (they do not realize their own strength).

LABRADOODLE COAT 1: Wavy or Hair Coat (Shorter, Wavy, Shaggy) Coat varies in thickness and length, but typically is straight or minimally wavy. Very low maintenance as far as brushing.

LABRADOODLE COAT 2: (Fleece) This coat has loose curls or waves over entire body, has soft- downy feel.

LABRADOODLE COAT 3: (Curly or Wool) This coat has tight or loose curls like a poodle.

A labradoodle's size is generally somewhere between that of its Poodle parent and Labrador Retriever parent.

The Labradoodle comes in three size variations, depending on the size of the Poodle used for the first-generation breeding. The three sizes are Standard, Medium, and Miniature.

  • The Standard Labradoodle should be 22 to 24 inches in height for a male and 21 to 23 inches in height for a female, while both can range in weight from 50 to 65 pounds.

  • The Medium Labradoodle should be 18 to 20 inches high for a male and 17 to 19 inches high for a female, with both weighing from 30 to 45 pounds.

  • The average size for a Miniature Labradoodle is between 14 to 16 inches and 15 to 25 pounds. (We do not breed Mini's at this time)

The Goldendoodle has proven to be an excellent family dog. They're versatile working dogs. Goldendoodles achieve high success as guide dogs, service dogs, therapy dogs, and sniffer dogs for allergies and drugs. Goldendoodles also do well in agility.

The Goldendoodle is an affectionate and gentle dog. Goldendoodles are usually highly social and get along well with everyone. They can thrive in both city and country settings, but they're not well suited to apartment living, since they do better with the space provided by a fenced yard. Goldendoodles can be very easy to train and are a good match for first-time or timid owners. They're not known to have any aggressive traits, but they do need proper socialization to avoid any shyness or fearfulness.

GOLDENDOODLE COAT 1: Straight coat, which is flat and resembles more of a golden retriever coat.

GOLDENDOODLE COAT 2: Wavy coat-type is a mixture of a poodle's curls, and a golden retriever's straighter coat.

GOLDENDOODLE COAT 3: Curly Coat tends to look more like the poodle coat.

A Goldendoodle's size is generally somewhere between that of its Poodle parent and golden retriever parent.

The ranges of size include standard, medium, and miniature (if the Poodle parent was miniature).

  • A Standard Goldendoodle will often weigh 60 to 100 pounds.

  • A Medium Goldendoodle will weigh between 30 to 45 pounds.

  • A Miniature Goldendoodle will weigh approximately 15 to 30 pounds. (We do not breed Mini's at this time)

The standard in height at the shoulder for a male Goldendoodle is about 24-26 inches. For females, it is 22-23 inches.

The Double Doodle is a hybrid breed which is a cross between the Goldendoodle and the Labradoodle.

As a hybrid dog the Double Doodle will inherit physical and behavioral traits of each of its three parent breeds. However, not all Double Doodles will inherit the same characteristics (even if from the same litter).

It is recommended to familiarize yourself with the Poodle, Golden Retriever, and the Labrador if you are planning on adopting a Double Doodle as the breed can have more characteristics of one parent breed than the other.

The Double Doodle is known for being affectionate, alert, friendly, gentle, intelligent, loving and social.

The most common colors for Double Doodles are black, black and tan, brown, cream, golden, silver, and white. Known to be multi-talented, the Double Doodle participates in a wide variety of activities such as agility, competitive obedience, guarding, hunting, jogging, narcotics detection, obedience, retrieving, search and rescue, sighting, and tracking.

The maintenance of the double doodle is largely dependent on which parent breed the dog inherits its coat characteristics from. Poodle genes will prevent the dog from shedding, but they will require frequent haircuts and brushing to keep the coat healthy.

A Standard Double Doodle will often weigh 50 to 80 pounds.

The average adult height is 20-24 measured in inches front paws to top of the shoulder while the dog is standing on all four legs.

Multi-Gen Double Doodle

A Muti-Gen Double Doodle is a third generation doodle that is produced from breeding a second generation back to a second generation.

The third generation Double Doodle (F3) is produced by crossing the F1B or F2 with another F1B or F2.

Our Multi-Gens are produced from these combinations of breedings: "F1B X F1B" "

F2B x F2B", "F1B X F2B".
